Short questions. Specific replies.

The care check
NAME.CHECK.Bring the open question.Ask about the reason for care
- Which health concern is the care meant to address?
- Why is this option being discussed for me?
- What other approaches can we consider?
- What remains uncertain, and what would change the plan?
Ask for a plain explanation of any term you cannot repeat back. Keep your original health concern in view.
Ask about the product and pharmacy
- What is the full ingredient and product name?
- Which form will it come in?
- Is it a finished approved drug or a preparation made to order?
- For a preparation made to order, which need is met by changing the medicine?
- Which pharmacy supplies it, and where is its licence record?
A preparation made to order lacked FDA approval as of September 2026.
Ask what happens after the visit
- What will the whole bill include?
- When does anything renew, and how can I stop it?
- Who answers a medicine or label question?
- What changes or problems need a prompt reply?
- When will we review the plan, and what will we look at?
Finish by asking for the agreed next steps in writing. Put unanswered questions beside those steps, rather than losing them in a long message.
